Spa Week

Spa Week is back!  For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Spa Week, it typically happens twice a year (September/October and April).  During a one week time frame select spas offer certain spa services at a discounted flat rate of $50.00.  The goal is to introduce people to Spa offerings.  Spa Week is a personal favorite of mine as I've been participating the past few years.  Getting a 1 hour massage, facial or mani/pedi for $50 each is a deal I can't pass up.  Make sure to locate your participating local spa at: spaweek.com (email registration required.)

Spa Week spa deals may differ and I highly recommend you book now as most spas book up fast for these great services!

I recently discovered GetGlue after reading an article about a site that offered stickers for checking in or liking different things.  You can earn a wide variety of stickers for checking in to your favorite books, music, TV shows and movies.  It's similar to the Foursquare set up of earning badges for checking in.  The difference with GetGlue.com is that after you earn 7 stickers, they'll mail you the real things for free!  Check it out here.

Home Depot Kids Workshop this Saturday, 9/4

Home Depot also offers free kid's projects once per month.  Each child gets an apron and button along with a free completed project.  They offer the program the first Saturday each month, from 9 am - 12 pm.  You can walk in at any point during that time to participate.  No pre-registration required!
